Anthony Bozzano, Sales and Marketing, CCWS
Born and raised in Stockton, California, Anthony Bozzano is the 3rd Generation of his family to be involved in California agriculture.
During his last two years of studying agriculture at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Anthony began working odd jobs in the local wine industry; everything from sorting grapes and bottling wine to organizing winemaker dinners and events. After organizing the inaugural Cal Poly Wine Festival in 2003, Anthony received his diploma with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agricultural Business and a Minor in Viticulture.
Anthony’s spent the 2003 grape harvest in Tuscany, as an intern at the Frescobaldi Family’s “Castello di Nipozzano”, working at a modern winery facility built into a 11th Century castle, and enjoying everything that is the Italian wine culture. After returning to California in January 2004, he joined the Pebble Beach Company, purchasing wine for the Pebble Beach Market, and performing Sommelier duties after passing the Level One Exam of the Guild of Sommeliers. It was at Pebble Beach that Anthony truly learned about wines from all over our planet.
Joining the Miller Family in 2005, Anthony’s original responsibility was bulk wine sales. His duties expanded to encompass not only bulk wines, but also grape sales and, most recently, private label wine production.
Aside from working with wine, Anthony enjoys hunting and fishing, travel, writing, surfing, rugby, and fitness. He is passionate about food and family, and can often be found cooking in the evenings and on the weekends.
Anthony feels truly blessed to live on the Central Coast, support the California wine industry, and work with the incredible family farming company that is the Miller Family.
